- 바쇼(芭蕉)의 하이카이(俳諧)에 묘사되어 있는 ‘가을 달’에 관한 고찰 -
본 연구에서는 바쇼의 하이카이에 묘사된 자연에 주목하여 ‘가을 달’을 주제로 하였고, 바 쇼의 문학작품 속에 묘사되어 있는 ‘가을 달’에 함축되어 있는 다양한 의미와 역할에 관하여 연구하였다. 바쇼의 작품 중에 ‘가을 달’과 관련한 작품에는 전형적인 달밤의 풍경을 묘사한 작품, 지 명, 설화, 전설, 사물 등을 비유로 묘사한 작품, 추모의 의미를 담은 작품, 그 외 단편적인 의 미로 각각 묘사한 작품, 그리고 바쇼 자신의 신변과 처지에 비유하여 묘사한 작품이 있었다. 특히 흥미를 끄는 것은 ‘가을 달’의 모습이 변해가는 자연적인 상황에 대비하여 자신이 처한 처지와 자신의 내면의 변화 등을 달에 투영하여 묘사하고 있다는 것이다. ‘가을 달’과 관련한 바쇼의 작품은 바쇼 하이카이의 사상의 바탕을 이루고 있는 자연과의 관계를 밝혀 줄 수 있 는 중요한 근거가 될 것이라고 할 수 있다.

In this study, the theme of ‘Autumn Moon was focused on the nature depicted in Bashō's Haikai, and various meanings and roles implied in the’Autumn Moon depicted in Bashō's Haikai were studied. Among Bashō's works related to ‘Autumn Moon’ include works depicting typical moonlit night scenery, works depicting place names, Narrative, Legends, Objects, etc as metaphors, works containing the meaning of memorial, and other fragmentary works. In Basho's work, you can see Basho's view of nature, which regards himself as a part of nature and describes his environment in preparation for changes in the natural environment. ‘Bashō's work on the ’Autumn Moon’ can be said to be an important material confirming the relationship with nature, which is based on the idea of Bashō Haikai.
