- 「というのは」의 사용양상 분석 - 文頭의 쓰임에 주목하여 - -
본 연구에서는 「というのは」를 중심으로 이와 관련된 「というのも」, 「なぜなら」의 문 속 쓰임 을 살펴보았다. 「というのは」는 文中에서건 文頭에서건 어떤 문말표현과 접속되는가에 따라 그 의미가 달라지는데, 사전적인 해설에 기초하여 실제 쓰임을 확인해봄으로써 「というのは」 의 구체적인 사용양상을 알아볼 수 있었다. 文中에서의 「というのは」는 「...というのは...ということだ」, 「...というのはNのことだ」, 「Nというの は...だ」의 형태로써 각각 전건에 대한 해석, 전건에 대한 정의, 그리고 주제를 나타내게 된다. 그리고 이유의 접속사로 취급되는, 文頭에 오는 「というのは」는 「というのは...[から/の]だ」 거나 「というのは...だ」형태로 쓰여, 이유나 정황설명 그리고 전건에 대한 주관적인 해석을 후 건에 나타낸다. 이때의 후건은 장황스러운 만연체인 경우가 많다. 이와 관련된 文頭의 「という のも」는 전건에 대한 강조, 「なぜなら」는 직접적인 명확한 이유라는 점이 文頭의 「というのは」와의 차이라고 할 수 있다. 문 속에서 볼 수 있는 文頭의 「というのは」는 일본어대역에서는 잘 나타나지 않는데, 이유의 다른 표현이 있다거나 「というのは」의 후건의 장황함 등에 의한 것이 아닐까 생각된다. 또한 일본어에는 「というのは」 외에도 「ということは」, 「というより」 등과 같은 인용의 「という」와의 결합어구가 文頭에 오는 경우도 많은데, 이런 것들에 「というのは」의 특징이 있다고도 생각되며, 여기의 고찰은 일본어교육에 시사하는 바가 있을 것이다. 마지막으로 「というのは」는 「それは/実は」, 「というのも」는 「だって」와도 의미상 연관되어 지므로 추후 이들 표현도 아울러 살펴볼 필요가 있겠다.
A Study on the usage of 「TOIUNOWA」
This study examined the use of ‘TOIUNOMO’, etc related to this, focusing on ‘TOIUNOWA’. By confirming the actual use based on the dictionary explanation, it was possible to find out the specific usage patterns of ‘TOIUNOWA’. ‘TOIUNOWA’ in the sentence is in the form of 「...というのは...ということだ」, 「...というのはN のことだ」, 「Nというのは...だ」, which represents the interpretation of the preceding case, the definition of the preceding case, and the subject, respectively. And ‘TOIUNOWA’ treated as a conjunction of reason, is used in the form of 「というのは...[から /の]だ」 or 「というのは...だ」, indicating a reason or contextual explanation and a subjective interpretation of the previous case in the next case. The consequences at this time are often lengthy. It can be said that the difference from the ‘TOIUNOWA’ is that the ‘TOIUNOMO’ emphasizes the previous case, and the ‘NAZENARA’ is a direct clear reason. Lastly ‘TOIUNOWA’ at the beginning of the sentence does not appear well in the Japanese translation, which may differ from individual to individual, but I feel vague about the use of this expression, and I think there is a characteristic of ‘TOIUNOWA’ here. For this reason, consideration of this may have implications for Japanese language education.
