- 2020년도 검정통과 일본 중학교 역사 교과서의 독도 기술 내용 분석 -
본고의 목적은 일본에서 2020년 3월에 검정을 통과한 7종의 중학교 역사교과서가 독도를 어떻게 기술하고 있으며, 그 특징이 무엇인지를 검토하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2017년도 중학 교 해설서 역사 분야의 독도 기술을 검토한 후, 2020년도와 2015년도 검정통과 역사교과서를 비교・분석했다. 분석 결과 첫째, 2020년도 검정통과 중학교 역사교과서는 2017년도 해설서의 내용을 전체 적으로 충실하게 반영했다는 점, 둘째, 독도가 나타난 사진과 지도 등 시각적인 자료의 사용 이 두드러졌다는 점, 셋째, 가장 높은 채택율을 보이고 있는 도쿄서적의 역사교과서에서 독도 와 일본의 역사적인 연관성에 관한 기술이 크게 늘어났다는 점, 넷째, 마나비샤의 역사교과서 는 다른 출판사의 역사교과서에 비해 2017년도 해설서의 독도 관련 내용을 소극적으로 반영 했다는 점을 밝혔다.
The Study on the Description of the Dokdo Issue on Japanese Middle School History Textbooks Authorized in 2020
This study has analyzed “the Description of Dokdo on Japanese Middle School History Textbooks” authorized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2020. For this purpose, this study has compared Japanese Middle School History Textbooks authorized in 2015 and 2020. This study demonstrates four main characteristics of the Description of Dokdo on Japanese Middle School History Textbooks authorized in 2020. First, the History Textbooks authorized in 2020 fully reflected the contents of Commentary to the Curriculum Guidelines 2017. Second, the use of visual materials such as photos and maps on Dokdo became prominent in the new textbooks. Third, the History Textbook published by the Tokyo Syoseki which showed high adoption rate has dramatically increased the connection between Dokdo issue and Japan's historic affairs. Fourth, the history textbook published by Manabisya poorly reflected the Curriculum Guidelines 2017 upon Dokdo issue, compared to other history textbooks.
